Combining Personal Need
with Unique Branding.
The High Confectionary (THC) is a female-founded cannabis company that offers ultra-low dose products for candy lovers. Their unique product was created out of personal need, as the founders wanted to create a product that was both enjoyable and offered the benefits of cannabis in a low-dose form. ACDC developed a range of branding and packaging elements that help distinguish the product in the crowded cannabis market.
Logo Origins
ACDC crafted a logo merging the brand abbreviation with iconic elements from the cannabis-popular era. This distinctive design blends the renowned 1963 smiley face by graphic designer Harvey Ball with the 1964 floral artwork of Andy Warhol. The logo not only catches the eye but also creates a memorable brand image, paying homage to the cultural significance of that era.
Product with Purpose
ACDC extended its creative touch to include illustrated patterns, color schemes, and icon sets that distinguish the product on packaging and marketing materials. The unique weed leaf shape of the gummy sets it apart from competitors using more conventional shapes. The packaging balances approachability and friendliness with an elegant, mature appeal designed to resonate with adult consumers.
